"I really dont feel like thus product is what is advertised. I followed all directions yet had an insanely difficult time removing it, and the remover smells so strong and the smell is so hard to get off of my skin and nails. It actually made me nauseous. I think there’s better product for much cheaper. Not to mention I emailed support and now am getting ignored, terrible experience."

"I rarely leave reviews, but I needed to for this. This is the best gel kit I’ve bought! There is a slight learning curve, but I’m a beginner and got the hang of it! My nails chipped a few days in, but I think that might be a me problem (with application, or because I’m too hard on my nails). The removal is a game changer!! Customer service is amazing!"

Great value

"This is my first time trying any Manicurist product. I just started doing at home manicures using breathable formulas because I don't like the feel of traditional nail polish. That said, my nails are weak so I wanted something to strengthen them, like gel, but don't like all the chemicals and maintenance that it requires.. particularly the gel removal process... I'm trying to strengthen my nails, not destroy them. You see where I'm going woth this.. Plant based, gel polish, easy removal... ticks all the boxes and more. The colors are beautiful. For some reason, breathable polish doesn't have this wide range of earth tones and jewel tones. This is a superfecta product for me. The kit is an excellent value. You get everything you need, and my order included a free nail file, buffer, and remover pen as well. The pen is well made and was very helpful. I did my first manicure yesterday and am very happy with the results. I expect to improve my technique with practice and maybe better shaping of the cuticle. While I haven't yet had the removal experience, I'll take a leap and say that I'm really excited to explore other colors and products from the brand. Attached is Rose Mountbatten with pink glazed effect powder on top (another huge value, btw!) The whole manicure took about 45 minutes... which is longer than usual but I hope the strength and longevity are worth it. I'll surely update if my opinion changes."

"Finally gel nail polish that doesn't take off half your nails with it. Absolutely love this kit and am going to throw out my tub of other gel polishes. Total game changer. Will never go back to a salon for gel polish either. Love, love love it. The videos that go with it are super helpful too."

"These are pics from my first manicure, applied a day ago. Pros: Amazing coverage in two coats. Cures well under the lamp. Kit comes with everythingyou need. Cons: Learning curve, especially for a butter fingers like myself. I think this is chipping already because I got some on my cuticle and didn't clean it up before curing. You can see on my left hand there are some ragged, chipped edges. Follow the instructions!"

Long lasting manicure with zero damage removal!

"The BEST at home gel manicure! My nails were in rough shape after years of press ons and gel manicures. I was trying to get my nails healthy again and thought I was going to have to give up gel polish. This gel manicure system is the best on the market! I could not believe how easy removal was. No filing, no acetone, no damage. Truly. This literally comes right off in 10 minutes (I use Extreme Flash). My nails are stronger and healthier after only 4 weeks. I tell everyone I know about this system!"

Lives up to claims

"I have been doing my nails at home for over 20 years and this is the third at home gel system I have tried. My nails have been a little ravaged by hormones and aging, and I had seen improvement from using other Manicurist products. I bought this specifically to protect my nails from damage (acetone really dries my nails out) and to help them grow. I bought the Xtreme top coat as opposed to the normal top coat. I thought the consistency of the polish during application was very nice for a gel system. I didn't find it too thick or hard to work with. I did follow the instructions for my first application, and I did experience some tackiness with the color, but not the top coat. I was very pleased with the overall finish. I think my nails look very shiny and has the nice "cushion" look associated with gel. I definitely think my nails look more like a salon with this polish than other polishes. I experienced minimal chipping at the tips in the first few days but the chips did not progress. No nail polish I have ever worn has lasted 5 days, so if I make it past 4 days, I'm excited. Day 4 was going strong, and I think it looked like the first day. I can be hard on my hands and nails, so I was very happy that the polish stayed strong. I did remove it early because I like changing polish more often than not, and I wanted to see how the removal went. Well, I did not understand that the Xtreme was a 10-min removal, so I was originally perplexed that there was no progress after the 1-min time I had seen everywhere else (it was only until after the whole process I discovered the different removal time). So, needless to say, my removal did not go as well as I wanted. Unfortunately it left me with a mess I had to cleanup, but it did not seem to damage my nails. I did my second application shortly after and it was much the same as the first. I really love the shine and I'm happy with the colors so far (Dark Dahlia and Old Rose). Overall, I would say there is a learning curve, but I'm very happy with the purchase and I look forward to trying more colors -- and the original top coat!"

Wish I tried this sooner!

"I started with the traditional style green polish, which I already love, but the ease of having fully cured polish makes my routine so much better! I’m someone who is very rough on my hands, (especially being garden season) and I don’t always have time to let nail polish air dry before I need my hands. The Xtreme flash top coat is also a game changer. It’s taking some getting used to for proper application but I’m figuring it out! I started with Dark Pansy which is already my favorite color from my green shades, and I just purchased a few more new-to-me colors to keep experimenting with my green flash kit. Makes me wish I started with this kit from the beginning."
