“Manucure” isn’t just the French word for manicure—it’s a little slice of self-care and style, rooted in the world of French beauty. Add “-ist” to the mix, and you get someone who lives and breathes nail care. It’s not just a job; it’s a craft. A Manucurist is all about mastering the details, creating beauty with precision, passion, and a whole lot of polish.
We chose this name to stand out—not just in spelling, but in spirit. Our identity is not generic, and neither are our products.
Our French Roots
Manucurist was born in Paris from a mother-daughter duo with a shared passion for beauty. What began as a boutique salon has grown into something much bigger—a bold, modern brand that’s now digital, serving B2C and B2B audiences with clean, conscious nail care loved around the world.
Our journey from a little Parisian salon to a global brand wasn’t just about growing bigger—it was about doing better. We saw what was wrong in the nail world: harsh ingredients, wasteful packaging, and outdated ideas. So, we decided to shake things up. With a mix of French flair, bold ambition, and a love for the planet, Manucurist set out to reinvent the manicure—cleaner, greener and way more modern.

From day one, innovation has been our engine. Every formula we create is the result of months—sometimes years—of research, all powered by a team of passionate chemists, nail experts and product developers. Our goal is always the same: to create products that are not only safe and clean, but better performing than anything else on the market. We obsess over every detail—from texture to wear time to environmental impact—because we believe clean beauty should never mean compromise.
Take Green Flash™, for example—our patented LED gel alternative. It applies like polish, lasts like gel, and removes in one minute with gentle, acetone-free remover. No damage, no compromise. When we launched Green Flash™ in 2020, we were already thinking ahead. We left out the potentially irritating ingredients HEMA and Di-HEMA TMHDC—long before they were banned for public use in the EU. The goal? A gel-like polish that’s safe, clean, and still delivers on performance.
We will also have plenty of reason to celebrate as Green Flash™ is celebrating its fifth birthday in June 2025.
Another example of our innovation is our Active™ range– 11 nail-enhancing effects with a nail care treatment enriched with AHAs and plant-powered actives. It enhances the beauty of your natural nails while providing nourishing care – a true hybrid inspired by our clean beauty philosophy.

Pioneers of the Clean Manicure
Long before “clean beauty” became a buzzword, we were challenging the status quo of conventional nail polish.
We launched our Green™ and Green Flash™ range to offer non-toxic, plant-based alternatives to traditional formulas, eliminating 12 of the most harmful ingredients commonly found in nail products. Our formulas include up to 84% bio-sourced ingredients such as potato, corn, cassava and sugar cane.
Why? Because we believe that beauty should never come at the cost of your health—or the planet’s.
Our mission was (and still is) to make clean nail care accessible to everyone, without sacrificing performance or color payoff. We’ve since expanded our product range to include LED alternatives to gel polish, natural treatments, eco-friendly tools and everything you need for a salon-quality manicure at home.
