Prepare your nails
An essential prerequisite for any new manicure, nail preparation is a set of simple but essential care steps. It involves:
- File your nails to give them a neat and harmonious shape. Short or long nails, square, squoval, or almond shape, now is the time to choose!
- Soften and push back your cuticles then polish the nail surface with a preparatory file to open the keratin scales and optimize the adhesion of the polish layers.
- Clean the nail surface with a gentle remover or degreaser.
Apply your polish in 4 layers
4 layers, that’s the secret for a long lasting manicure and a perfect finish:
- Apply a protective base layer suited to the chosen polish (Green Base Coat or Vitamin Green Base Coat Green Flash™).
- Apply the color in two thin layers and let each dry well, air drying for Green™ polish, under an LED lamp for Green Flash™ polish.
