What is the best way to store my Green™ polish so it lasts longer?

You should try to open it as little as possible and close it as quickly as possible!

A little tip to beat the heat: the fridge is the best place to store it! Reducing the temperature helps prevent the polish from evaporating and slows down the rate at which the ingredients deteriorate.

Our product ranges are green and clean with up to 84% plant-based ingredients (of natural origin). They are also free of endocrine disruptors, monomers and hydroquinone.

You can also rest assured that the Green Flash™ range is vegan, certified by the Vegan Society.

We are always on the lookout for an alternative to this product, as animal welfare is particularly important to us!

Is the Green™ range compatible with the Green Flash™ range? And with products from other brands?

Unfortunately not, each formula is unique and made from different ingredients. Our Green Flash™ products should only be used with products from the same range to ensure the best results.

How old do you have to be to use Green™ classic nail polish?

Our Green™ polish is recommended for ages 12+.

How long does Green™ polish take to dry?

It all depends on the thickness of your coats, but if you use our Quick-Dry Drops, you can halve the drying time of your Green™ polish (by 51% to be precise, according to recent studies)!

What steps do I need to follow for a Green™ System manicure?

The nail prep step is a very important way to make sure your polish lasts:

1) File your nails into your preferred shape using our emery board. Use the fine grain (Manucurist logo) for your fingernails and the coarser grain for your toenails.
2) Push back your cuticles. Apply our Cuticle Remover to the nail contour. Leave to work for 2 minutes, then push back the cuticles with a cuticle pusher.
3) File the surface of your nails using our buffer. This is designed to smooth, buff and open up the nail plate to help the polish adhere better.
4) Remove all traces of oil and/or impurities using our Nail Oil Remover to help the polish adhere better and last longer.

Then apply your Green™ polish by following the steps below. Carry out each step on all 10 fingers before moving on to the next step:

1) Apply a thin layer of Base Coat immediately after the Nail Oil Remover.
2) Apply 2 thin coats of colour once the Base Coat is dry. Wait a little while between each coat for it to dry slightly.
3) Apply 1 thin layer of Top Coat.
4) Apply 1 Quick-Dry Drop to the middle of each nail after applying the Top Coat.
Apply the polish in thin coats and wait 1-2 minutes between each coat!

How can I give my Green™ manicure a shine boost after a few days?

If you are wearing Green™ polish, you can reapply a layer of our Sunshine Top Coat to refresh its shine after a few days.

Can I use a Green™ treatment base coat under my Green™ polish instead of the regular Green™ base coat?

Yes, you can use any of our treatment base coats as part of your Green™ manicure, e.g. S.O.S. Base Coat, Force Base Coat or 5.5 Base Coat. These base coats are designed to strengthen your nails, while helping your Green™ polish to adhere properly.

What is a Jelly nail polish?

A Jelly nail polish is defined by its semi-transparent, jelly-inspired texture. It creates a sheer finish that lets the natural nail show through while adding shine and luminosity, unlike traditional, more opaque polishes.

With each layer, the color builds gradually without ever fully covering the nail, creating a natural, glossy effect.

Can the color intensity be adjusted?

With Jelly polishes, the more coats you apply, the more the color builds while staying slightly transparent, for a fully customizable finish.

Its jelly finish adapts to your every mood:

- 1 coat for a subtle, natural shine, perfect for a minimal manicure
- 2 coats for a softly tinted, translucent look
- 3 coats for a richer, more vibrant color

Is the Jelly range compatible with the Green Flash™ range? And with products from other brands?

Unfortunately, no. Each formula is unique, and their compositions differ. Green Flash™ products should only be used with others from the same range to ensure optimal results. However, all shades from the Green Flash™ range are also available in the Green™ range, so you can still find your favorite color!

How long do Jelly polishes take to dry?

Drying time depends on the thickness of the coats, but with drying drops, you can cut the drying time of your Jelly manicure in half.

Can using Jelly polishes cause allergies?

The Jelly formula complies with European regulations and is certified gluten-free. However, allergic reactions are not solely linked to synthetic ingredients and can sometimes occur with bio-based ingredients as well.

"I like this polish but it’s not my favorite of theirs. It doesn’t look good as one coat, and you really need 3 to get a proper jelly look. With that said, it’s cute with 3 coats and a top coat for shine. Depending on how you feel about this, you can definitely see the whites/tips of your nails significantly—3 coats doesn’t make it opaque enough to avoid that."

"J'avais hâte d'essayer Twizzle. Heureusement il est revenu rapidement en stock après avoir été en rupture. Il est comme sur les photos du site. Pour ma part j'ai appliqué la base coat vitaminée puis 2 couches fine de Twizzle. L'effet est glossy, léger et lumineux. Parfait pour l'été ! L'application est facile et il sèche rapidement. "Ok this might be my fav polish ever. I love to layer it so it looks like a professional gel mani. It doesn’t chip at all and I’ve found you can peel it off if you want to start removing it that way but it doesn’t do that unless you actually try to peel it. I also wasn’t sure about the color when I bought it but now it’s the one I keep wanting to use I’ve have to make myself use the other colors I bought lol Get it! You won’t regret it 😉"
