Force Nail Hardener

A nail hardener is a treatment designed to strengthen and protect weak, brittle nails. It works by forming a protective layer over the nail that prevents it from breaking or chipping. The formula typically contains strengthening agents that help improve nail resilience. Regular use can lead to visibly stronger nails over time.

When used correctly, a nail hardener should not damage your nails. However, overuse or improper application can lead to dryness or brittleness. It’s important to follow the recommended usage guidelines and avoid leaving the product on for too long. If you notice any irritation or adverse effects, discontinue use and consult a professional.

A nail hardener primarily strengthens nails by forming a hard protective layer that prevents breaking and cracking. In contrast, a nail strengthener works by nourishing and conditioning the nails, helping to restore their natural strength. While both aim to improve nail health, hardeners are more focused on protection, while strengtheners support growth and flexibility.

To apply a nail hardener effectively, start by ensuring your nails are clean and dry. Apply a thin layer of the hardener to each nail, ensuring even coverage. Allow it to dry completely before applying any additional coats. For optimal results, reapply the hardener as directed and consider using it as a base coat for added protection.

Treatment base coats can be used as a base coat as part of your Green manicure.

However, they cannot be used instead of a Green Flash™ base coat, which needs to dry under the lamp.

A single coat is enough.

For maximum staying power, we recommend that you only use Green Flash™ Base Coat.

All our treatment base coats can be removed like our polish - with our Nail Polish Remover or Green Flash™ Nail Polish Remover.

When using a treatment base coat, there's no need to remove the previous coat.

Our nail care formulas are green and clean: they are up to 99% plant-based, i.e. made from biomass ingredients like aloe vera, lemon, ginseng, pomegranate and grape. However, women should avoid all types of nail polish when they are pregnant or breastfeeding. We recommend you speak to a healthcare professional if you are unsure.

Our nail care formulas meet European standards and do not contain any sensitising substances. They are also certified gluten-free and safe for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, as are our Green Flash™, Green™ and Active™ ranges. Most customers who are allergic to regular nail care products are not allergic to the Manucurist nail care range. However, as allergic reactions are not specifically linked to chemical ingredients, they can sometimes occur with plant-based ingredients.
