Manucurist, official nail partner of Paris Fashion Week
Since the very first manicures at the Chloé show in 2021, Manucurist has become the preferred nail partner for the biggest fashion houses showing at Paris Fashion Week every year. From Saint Laurent to Valentino, by way of Miu Miu, Ester Manas and Acne Studios, Manucurist polishes featured at no fewer than 18 shows this September 2026 season. The richness of the color range and the quality of the polishes have made Manucurist the favorite brand of the best professional nail artists when it comes to fashion week nails. With it, they can translate the world of each collection into runway nails to perfection, carrying the designers’ artistic choices right to the fingertips.
Paris Fashion Week nails: the looks, show by show
Miu Miu show, manicure by Mei Kawajiri
With this collection, Italian designer Miuccia Prada celebrates a certain idea of femininity more than ever: free, elegant and playful, mixing up the codes with sporty crop tops and tweed skirts, plaid blazers and retro swimsuits. The nails break free of convention too, under the direction of Mei Kawajiri. For her, Manucurist’s Red Cherry shade embodies this powerful femininity. Turning away from the clean girl trend that has dominated in recent years, she opted for an imperfect, hastily applied finish that spills slightly over the sides.

Saint Laurent show, manicure by Alexandra Janowski
Anthony Vaccarello’s latest collection for Saint Laurent was designed to be grandiose. Mission accomplished with this all gold and black show at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, a lesson in elegance and glamour in the purest Saint Laurent style, with lace, brocade, bows and perfect draping galore. To go with all that gold, Alexandra Janowski chose a dark red manicure with the sublime Dark Pansy.

Acne Studios show, manicure by Cam Tran
The Swedish brand chose to revisit the world of 17th century piracy, updating its main sartorial codes. Corsair pants, weathered leathers, floral prints and puffball skirts get a new lease of life, with a slightly punk, offbeat twist. On the nails, nail artist Cam Tran opted for an aura nails effect like a sweep of blush, airbrushed in powdery pink tones, with Bois de Rose as the base and Victoria Plum as a halo in the center of the nail.

Ester Manas show, manicure by Fanny Santa Rita
After a two year absence, Belgian brand Ester Manas made a big comeback at Paris Fashion Week to present its Spring/Summer 2027 collection. True to its DNA, the brand offers an ultra feminine, sensual wardrobe that adapts to every body and every stage of life. To go with loose plaid or striped shirts, leopard prints, embroidered skirts with a coral effect, sheer pieces and lingerie worn as clothing, nail artist Fanny Santa Rita chose the Manucurist shades Prune, Hortencia, Halo, Pale Rose and Milky Pink, applied to both hands and feet.

Alainpaul show, manicure by Fanny Wonyu
At Alainpaul, dance takes center stage. The designer staged a show with a techno rave atmosphere, slipping in nods to the world of classical ballet. The result: a blend of modern and classic styles, with structured tailored jackets and parachute dresses that enhance the body’s movement. Black took pride of place, with touches of ballet pink, silver lamé and kiwi green. Nail artist Fanny Wonyu chose to dress the nails of every model, men and women alike, with the Green™ polishes Mocha, Red Velvet, Licorice and Active™ Smooth.

Florentina Leitner show, manicure by Fanny Wonyu
The Antwerp based Austrian designer pays tribute to her native country with this Spring/Summer collection, drawing directly on traditional Austrian dress. Denim lederhosen, crop tops with balloon sleeves or peplums, gingham or pleated mini dresses. The bow is the collection’s signature accessory, and it appears in 3D at the models’ fingertips, on nails painted pink with Hortencia or Candy by Fanny Wonyu.

Chloé show, manicure by Agathe Massé
Designer Chemena Kamali created a wonderfully ingénue Spring/Summer collection, with a budding, romantic spirit, paying tribute to the great designers who shaped Chloé (Karl Lagerfeld and Gaby Aghion). On the runway: long dresses adorned with broderie anglaise or lace, frothy petticoats and ruffled cropped pants, 3D flowers almost everywhere, sweeping capes and trench coats, all in a palette of white, beige, pink and pastels. On the manicure side, our resident nail artist Agathe Massé went for a natural glow with Active™ Smooth 00 as a base and Top Coat Sunshine for shine. A few Drying Drops to speed up drying and a little Nourishing Cuticle Oil to hydrate complete the routine. A show so Chloé that it was cheered by fans of the brand including Maude Apatow, Cynthia Erivo, Lou Doillon and Claire Danes.

Tom Ford show, manicure by Béatrice Eni
The Spring/Summer 2027 collection designed by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford is all about pure, unapologetic seduction. This translates into structured clothes that highlight or reveal perfect bodies. Black leather is everywhere, alongside olive green, sky blue, camel, gray and blood red. The nails of the models, men and women alike, were entrusted to Béatrice Eni who adorned them with the Green™ polishes Red Velvet, Red Cherry and Hollyhock.

Valentino show, manicure by Mei Kawajiri
Glamour and an explosion of color are on the menu of the Spring/Summer 2027 collection imagined by Alessandro Michele. It features leather and satin bustier dresses, jackets and skirts trimmed with feathers or fur, and wildly elegant draping and maxi bows, alongside streetwear influences such as plaid shirts, caps and fluid pants gathered at the ankle. The nails are neutral, manicured by Mei Kawajiri with Active Smooth 00.

Zimmermann show, manicure by Charlène Coquard
The emblem of this collection named “Kaleidoscope,” the butterfly is everywhere in the decorative details and silhouettes of the Australian brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 line. Silky blouses, long dresses ready to take flight and airy draping come in a palette of white, pastel yellow, peach pink and sky or denim blue. To match this wardrobe, at once light and spectacular, nail artist Charlène Coquard chose the Milky Peach shade. A perfect match applauded by a front row that included Naomi Watts, Jessica Alba and Uma Thurman.

Courrèges show, manicure by Ama Quashie
Newly appointed creative director at Courrèges, Drew Henry had fun with the house’s 1960s basics. The trapeze and rounded shapes are all there, but shaken up with open fastenings, fringing, straps and oversized shapes. The color palette is joyfully offbeat, mixing classic shades (blue, navy, black, white), soft pastels and zesty tones (orange, lime, icy blue). The nails are dark, with the deep red polish Dark Dahlia on the hands and the blackened red Hollyhock on the feet.

Lanvin show, manicure by Ama Quashie
Peter Copping, creative director of Lanvin, turned to the great female artistic figures of the 20th century to inspire his summer collection. Fabrics are fluid and silhouettes elongated, with references to the 1920s and pieces borrowed from menswear. Black and white largely dominate the show, punctuated by a few ultra colorful looks (red, turquoise, yellow). The peep toe pumps reveal a bright red pedicure, created with the Green™ polish Anémone by Ama Quashie.

Casablanca show, manicure by Melvyn Renaud
A taste of Brazil in Paris! Designer Charaf Tajer’s show, titled “Amor e Progresso,” transported the audience to Copacabana beach for a joyful cocktail of sportswear and beachwear. Nail artist Melvyn Renaud chose Manucurist’s nail prep and the Active Smooth 00 and 01 polishes to prepare the models’ nails before customizing them with translucent nude or colored press on nails.

Givenchy show, manicure by Ama Quashie
For her first Givenchy collection, Sarah Burton bet on simplicity while paying close attention to detail. Iconic pieces such as the tuxedo, the trench coat, the jeans and tank top duo and the peplum jacket are reinvented, long dresses are fringed and boots zip up the front. Black and white alternate with bold colors (blue, red, orange, green, yellow). On the feet, nails were styled by Ama Quashie with Hollyhock, a deep, almost black red.

Isabel Marant show, manicure by Alexandra Janowski
Isabel Marant set its sights on the 60s with a summer wardrobe full of lace, sheer skirts, slim cropped pants, shorts and light blouses. The brand’s signature colors (sage, nude and pastels) mix with black and white, complemented by Indian inspired prints. Nail artist Alexandra Janowski gave the nails a soft matte pink finish using a mix of Hortencia and Active™ Blur.

Issey Miyake show, manicure by Dina Raolison
At Issey Miyake, the Spring/Summer 2027 collection explores how fabric interacts with the body’s movement. Bustiers are molded to the skin, pleats form a chrysalis, folds envelop, veils ripple and take flight. Purple is the common thread, alongside black and white, as well as sky blue, yellow, red, turquoise and brown. The nails are neutral, made up with Active™ Smooth 00 by Dina Raolison.

Maison Margiela show, manicure by Cam Tran
When Maison Margiela deconstructs everyday life, the result is dresses and skirts in vintage oilcloth prints, wrap skirts worn like aprons, dresses draped in airbrush illustrated fabrics, and others with torn or openwork pleats over second skin underlayers. Apart from the floral prints, the colors are neutral (gray, beige, denim or black). The nails were styled by Cam Tran with the soft matte pink of Active™ Blur on the hands and the bright red of Anémone on the feet.

Polo Ralph Lauren show, manicure by Alex Feller
The surprise show of this Fashion Week, the Polo Ralph Lauren SS27 collection unveiled an authentic, well traveled silhouette. Craftsmanship was showcased through contrasting volumes: ultra short shorts with structured jackets, wide leg pants with fitted jackets. A wardrobe in classic colors (white, blue, red, beige) accented with colorful madras accessories. The nails, styled by Alex Feller, were neutral or painted in shades of pink, matcha green, coral or red.

What are the latest nail trends from Paris Fashion Week September 2026?
This edition of PFW saw three Parisian nail trends go head to head on the runway:
- The red manicure: a classic, admittedly, but still a winning way to show off style, glamour and individuality. At Saint Laurent and Courrèges, the shades are dark, almost black, and come as maxi claws at Tom Ford. At Lanvin and Maison Margiela, bright red appears as a pedicure. But it was Miu Miu that stood out and created a buzz with its cherry red messy manicure spilling over the edges.
- The clean girl manicure: these neutral, flawless nails are so practical, in nude tones or pale pink or peach, and go with every style and every color. A versatile manicure chosen for the Chloé, Issey Miyake, Isabel Marant and Valentino shows, and so easy to achieve with Active™ Smooth or Blur polishes.
- Nail art: few brands dare to bring nail art to fashion week runways, often for lack of time. Two looks stood out all the same: the airbrushed aura effect at Acne Studios and the 3D bows and drops on pink nails at Florentina Leitner.
Minimalist manicure or statement nails, flawless or imperfect: the debate on nails in fashion remains open and promises some interesting nail trends for 2027. In the meantime, this edition of Paris Fashion Week once again delivered some memorable fashion moments, such as Saint Laurent’s grandiose show beneath the Eiffel Tower and Miu Miu’s ultra creative, innovative show. See you in six months for the Fall/Winter collections!
